What if I told you that I was going to make you happy?
What if I said I will show you how to make money and how to keep it?
I bet that got your attention.
You stopped thinking about what else you wanted to get done today didn’t you?
Just think what I just did. I grabbed your attention by offering you something you really want. I appealed to your basic instincts. I offered you pretty much everything you want.
Guess what? This is how you get people interested in what you want to sell. It’s a psychological game! What can I say that will get your attention?
Obviously you can’t just promise anything, people would see straight through you in a few seconds. But, if you can give people a taste, an idea, a way of getting closer to what they’re really after.
Appeal to people’s desires. Grab their attention and then lead them where you want them to go. i.e. get them to buy your product, get them to join you on your journey!
Why not think of it as a game where you are trying to convince someone to believe in what you’re saying. Never,ever try to con people, it’s immoral and illegal and will always backfire. Try to show them how your product or your service will benefit them. How it will improve their lives.
